About Us

We love children, we love books and we love children's books. This is the best introduction about us. The second thing which defines us is that we are childhood friends, still lost in those wonderful childhood memories, especially of reading rented comic books together.

We have traveled different countries around the world and spent time with their communities to understand their people, children, and education. We have also enriched our understanding about children and their reading needs while working with some of the well-known people in this domain. While working with children from unprivileged backgrounds, we always felt a need of good literature for them. But in the last 5 years, when some of us became parents, we realized that good child literature is also far out of reach even for well-to-do families in India.

Also, while studying in some of the premier colleges of India like BITS Pilani, we realized that what sets you apart in these places of excellence, or anywhere for that matter, are your mental abilities likes creativity and imagination along with moral values and ability to see the world from different perspectives.

After a long journey of understanding quality child literature and related challenges and opportunities, we came up with the idea to make good child literature accessible to masses in very affordable price. Tiggibox is the result of this entire story and we are more than excited by the tremendous appreciation of the product we have received from parents in the initial few months.

Our Philosophy

"If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales."

Albert Einstein

A childhood without books – that would be no childhood. That would be like being shut out from the enchanted place where you can go and find the rarest kind of joy.”

Astrid Lindgren

“Don’t just teach your children to read… Teach them to question what they read. Teach them to question everything.”

George Carlin
